While Germany's landscapes are lovely, from a bird's-eye view they are positively inspiring. These views from on high are the speciality of Gerhard Launer, one of Germany's best-known aerial photographers. He's a fan of control, which is why he himself flies the plane from which he takes his astounding pictures.
